I have 2 DNN sites (one is running 4.8.2 and one is running 4.9.2), now I like to merge the one running 4.8.2 to the 4.9.2 site. Can someone please show me how to go about this merger?

Thank you

This is not something that really has a "method" of doing it.  You could in theory export the old site as a template, then add a new portal to the 4.9.2 site to bring in the content.  However, that requires that ALL modules used support IPortable, AND it also is limited as your module settings do not all come through with the export.
