I like things to be simple. Especially when I'm looking to have as little "tech support" as possible for my users.  I have created a role that is a sort of opt-in, but requires an RSVP code for members to join. Is there a link I can give them, that takes them directly to the page that allows RSVP codes to be entered? "click on your name, click managed services" is too confusing to explain to the people who rarely get on the internet :(

Also- I was trying to create a small "reminder" to opt-in for new registers.  I want the reminder to go away once they either opt-in, or click something stating they no longer want to be reminded.  So I created a public, auto-assigned role called RUOptIn. The reminder is a text module that only shows to members of RUOptIn. I want to have a link that says "yes I've Opted In" or "don't remind me again" that will remove the user from the RUOptIn group.  If getting people into manage services to Opt-In was bad enough, I don't want to explain how to get rid of this reminder. I tried to copy the shortcut from the Manage Services page, but it's a javascript link specific to the form on the Edit User page.

Long explanation short-

  1. How can I create a link to direct a user straight to the RSVP page?
  2. How can I create a link to allow someone to remove themselves from a specific role?

How is the code done for the profile page?

I tried to jump into the raw HTML output, and search for things that were in the RSVP code, or Unsubscribe link. The links for both are form submitters. But with the way the page is coded, I can't find the links themselves, or see how they work from the source code.

All I want is a SIMPLE way to have people do a few things. Too many clicks!! Not every subscriber is a web programmer. How can we make this easier??
