When I am logging as administrator or as a visitor on to my portal under almost all modules like Links, Books, Announcements, etc., I am getting the following error.

An error has occurred.  Error: Books is currently unavailable.

I could not follow what kind of error occured.

Even the Added data is not getting inserted into the table.

Please help me.

Regards

........

To solve this you might need to provide a little more information such as -

  • DNN Version
  • Modules you have installed
  • Is this local or live?
  • Do you have log errors

I'm not an expert but it sounds like something to do with permissions on this. I have a problem on one site that will let me edit the text html but not edit or add links or pages. It comes up with an error all the time.
