One question i have always had is how do i create a simple html link from one module to another one without copying and pasting the URL from the address bar.

i have found that using the hyperlink tool from the text editor with the address bar URL works normally but it fails miserably when i change the name of the page i am linking to.

I would like to create links to pages throughout my site that do not rely on page names or the address bar URLs.

any ideas?

Try using the FCKEditor - there is more information about this on the site here - and it's great when looking at wanting to connect to different pages, not modules but pages. When you click browse server, it then gives you the option to choose the pages you want, similar to the links module.

Hi Thanks for the reply

what is the FCKEditor?  is it a replacement for the wsywig editor that comes default with DNN?  can i still use it with my existing HTML modules?

cheers
