Hello everyone!  My name is Paul and I am having one hell of a morning.  Short story is this...My company was brought in to this school district after another companys contract ran out.  This other company hosted the schools website with dotnetnuke.  Well they are being brats and not giving me the database store only the site contents in a zipfile.  My question is how do I migrate this information onto a new page with dotnetnuke?  I have the new site up with godaddy and dotnetnuke is installed and ready there.   Version 4.9.0

Since everything is in the database, without it you have to recreate from scratch.  This is an issue your client needs to address with their former contractor.

Thank you for the swift answer.  The other contractor wants us to pay for the database so that is out for us.  I have the pages is there a way to just import them?

If they are built with text html module you can use export and import actions.

First, I am sorry to hear about this... these kinds of "hostage" scenarios give technology a bad name.  I would ask your client to review their contract witth the previous provider.  It is not typical that the provider would own the clients data... in fact, it would be much more normal for the provider to be obligated to turn over the clients content upon termination of their contract.

Good luck.
