All,

I have made changes to a skin and installed it and uninstalled it several times because each time the change is not being reflected in my test site.  I have refreshed the browser, cleared the cache, tried another browser and still my changes do not show up.  Finally got frustrated so created a connection right to the db via MS Server Mgt Studio and did select * from skins table.  Zero rows!  I know there are two skins that are installed so how can there be zero rows??  I don't see any other table that seemingly could hold these data?  What's up with that?

what dnn version? the meaning of records in the skins table is different between dnn 4.x and dnn 5.x

installing a skin will get you only half way, you will also have to apply the skin to a page or a portal

I am not quite sure, if the Skins table get properly populated when installing legacy (DNN2/3/4) skins. It's purpose is improve tracking by the extension installer.
