 Hello,

I have an instance of DNN that is quickly approaching it's shared hosting storage. When the installation was first made, it was only taking up about 60MB, how it is grown close to 2GB.  Can anyone point me to some places/files that I could delete (or clear) to get some of this space back.  I've read about the site log and the event log taking up space, and I've cleared the event log, but the space still hasn't gone down.  Can anyone help?

Thanks.

you might need to shrink the database and site log, if stored in files and not cleared frequently. Please check with your hosting partner (or who configured the site) for details.

Thanks for the reply.  To clarify; I am hosting this through a reseller account and setup the DNN instance myself.  The SQL storage quota is separate from the file storeage quota.  I have been watching the file size and without any modifications on my part, the installation appears to be growing between 2MB and 5MB a day.  I go in and clear the Event Viewer logs and I have scheduled the Site Logs to be deleted.

I'm just not sure where to look to find the growing files.

Thanks.

are you telling me, that it is not the database growing, but other files in file system?

in this case, I can only think of the site log, if being stored in file system and not in database. In this case, it doesn't get cleared by DotNetNuke, you will need to remove the files yourself.

The only other idea I have is someone abusing your web space by upoloading large files. please check out, which folder contains the growing files.
