Hey guys

ive been trying to get this working for the last couple of days, it took me a while to install the DNN 5.1 but now

its taking me even longer to do what i want.

Okay i log in as a SuperUser into http://localhost/dotnetnuke/

i go to portals and then add new portal, provide the alias as my website that i already have up on the net - lets say its www.abc.com.au

After providing in a new login for a new user admin to access the website i try and login so that i can change my website ( which i think already points to the DNN installation in IIS) - i think (could someone tell me how to do this properly).
Anyways, when i try login with the credentials i created, it says the user doesnt exist??

If what im doing is totally wrong, could someone tell me what the correct step is. What i want to do is, have the ability to edit/manage a website on the sameserver as DNN 5.1 through DNN. I believe i have to create a Parent Portal for the website to do this. Please help.

When i click the new portal under the superuser, it just treats it as a hyperlink to my website, unlike when i click on localhost/dotnetnuke which takes me to a page for editing;

thanks alot
dooley
