Hello,

I'm living in Europe and my dotnetnuke site is in Usa. That will say that everything published into my dnn site has the time from usa.

I'm not interrested by the time in usa but I need my local time.

What can i do ?

Modifying in user profile don't change anything.

Thanks

David,

it depends on the modules you are using, but most of the time, issues get fixed by setting portal timezone to server time zone (this fixes an issue wiss misnamed methods in UserTime class). Now every registered and logged in user, who has configured proper user time zone in his profile will get displayed adjusted timestamp values. I agree, this is not satisfying, but we are looking into improvements for DNN 5.2.

Hello,

I've put the time in admin on local time from de server (ESt = GMT-5) but it's saying 14:45 when it's here 20:45 it's into the feedback module but in other modules too.

In the profil from user I've tried to put my gmt or gmt from server and that don't change anything too ... the answer is the same.

Can you say me exactely what to do like modifications ?

Thanks a lot

Because if I have to moderate feedback I need to know when it was delivered in my local time.

David,

make sure, Portal default time zone is set to server time zone (in Admin :: Site Settings) and you are using correct time zone for your own user profile. There might be a difference of 1 our due to DST (Summer Time).

Hello,

I have done this but dnn is not using good time. My user is gmt+1 and admin is gmt-5. the feeback is submitted from gmt+1 but in moderate option from feedback it's always the time from server (gmt-5) and not my local time from gmt+1.... it's always 6 hours difference.

Help please thanks
