I'm just trying to setup an environment where we have a 'public' site where people can register to use features in the site and an intranet portal, which will only be in use by in-house staff.  In this intranet portal, administrators should be able to see all the registered users from the public site.  It would also be possible to store custom user profile details about the users. I.e. add more user profile fields, which are visible in the intranet site, but not in the public site.  It would also be possible from the intranet site to manage the users roles in teh public site. 

Once this is working, we would then like to add another public portal and administer the registered users profiles from this new portal as well, including managing their roles, which might be from a different role group than the initial portal (or intranet portal).

I've had a good look around and think the DNN masters multi portal user sharing module should probably do this, but does anyone have any suggestions of other modules I should have a look at? or any suggestions of other ways I could achieve this?  Any suggestions would be helpful.
