Hi everybody,

I'm having a bad time trying to configure my portal.
I have set up 2 languages : english and french.

As long as the default language is en-US everything is fine : localized items are displaying as expected in french and in english.

As soon as I set up my portal to use fr-FR as default, the items (login, register,...) won't display anymore in english. They stay in french even when english is selected in the lang switcher.

Does anybody have an idea of what I could do to solve the problem ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,
Arno

PS : I'm using version 4.03

I have the some problem with de-DE und en-US. I think it's a bug of Dotnetnuke 4.0.x. When setting default language to de-DE, you will always get the german version, when switching to en-US.

Exactly !
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much people interested/concerned by the problem

Let's hope the bug will be corrected in 4.04...

Next version will certainly be 4.1. I created a bug report for this issue. Let's see what will happen.

AFAIR this was an error in DNN 4.0.3 only, Erik located and reported it already, have a look into the localization forums for details.

As well as Stephan, I experienced the same problem on a fresh install of DNN 4.0.2.
