Hi ,

I would ike to create a link to another page from a reports module and to specify the calling page URL as a parameter for a return URL.  I can use variables of fthe type @URL to get at URL Parameters in the reports module - but how do I get the URL itself of the current page - is there a variable/token e.g. @URL_URL or something like that?

Many thanks

Steve

If you are in a module you can use the following to get the URL to the page.

DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.NavigateUrl(this.TabId)

replace this with me if using VB

Hi Mitchel,

I'm still desperately trying to avoid doing any coding so I am hoping to be able to pass the current page URL to an XSLT visualiser in the reports module.  I was thinking that I could include the page URL as a virtual column in the report module SQL  e.g. SELECT @URL_URL as MyURL  - in the same way that I can use an URL parameter in the SQL.  I could then pick up the URL as an XML element and format it in XSLT.

I basically want to create a whole series of links in a reports module based on data from the DB - but each link will also pass as a parameter the current page as the return URL..

It would seem that the current URL is not available as a parameter as described (non coding)
