Woooohoooo.  I have installed DNN 4.03 and it is working!  Wow...this is really powerful.

Currently our website url is www.ourpage.com/dnn

How do I make is just www.ourpage.com ?  We are currently outsourcing the site, just until it works, then we will bring it to our servers.

Thanks folks!

just so you know I am just starting to learn how to do this...
but bring dnn out of its folder and add all the folders and files to wwwroot but only if you have everything you need in the dnn folder like default.aspx. If you don't you will have to redownload it.

Instead of your website front page opening in http://www.ourpage.com/dnn/default.aspx it should open when you request www.ourpage.com or www.ourpage.com/default.aspx .

If you are not quite ready to do that but still want to move the files over. Add a redirect file or under construction file but make it index.html . Then once you are ready delete the index file and the site will go to the default. (I did this on my site and it worked perfectly, but some people might have better opinions.)

Depending on your host, you could just point your IIS site to the /dnn folder, depending on what you have at the root level higher than the DNN folder. If that doesn't make any sense let me know and I'll try to respond again.
