We have a DNN 4.09 installation, everything is working fine. Now we'd like to create a subdirectory off the root like /test and put a default.aspx in there along with the .dll into /bin. This is in-effect a stand-alone asp.net web application running next to DNN. But when we hit /test/default.aspx in the browser, DNN redirects us back to the main page of the site. We assume this is because DNN doesn't see the request as a legit page request and defaults to dumping us back to the homepage.

How can we get DNN to ignore our new directory and keep its hands off and stop the redirect?

Thanks in advance, we've been trying to fix this for weeks!

I just fixed this issue - I had to create the /test folder as a sub-portal so DNN wouldn't redirect. Then I could drop any .aspx pages I wanted into the directory and they'd run with no problems.
