I am new to DNN and have just installed the community edition 5.1 to my hosting provider.  Everything installed correctly and I can create new portals.  What I cannot do is install a module.  When I open the module definitions, the drop down arrow and menu to access the install new module page does not show up.  Can anyone tell me what triggers this menu to show?

Thanks!

When you are logged in as host and navigate to Host-->Module Definitions you should see the action menu icon (downward triangle) to the left of the title Module Definitions. Hovering over that icon should show a context menu including an item for "Install Module". There should also be a "+" sign and "Install Module" at the bottom of the Module Definitions.

Are you saying that you are not seeing either "Install Module" menu item?

You can also navigate to Host-->Extensions where you should find an "Install Extensions Wizard" link at the bottom of the page.

There you will also find "Install Available Extensions" which can be clicked upon to install those module packages included in the DNN 5.1.x package but not yet actually installed.

Hi Chris,  After you've navigated to the Module Definitions page check the mode radio buttons at the top of the screen and ensure you are in "Edit" mode.  If you are in View mode the black arrow will not show.
