With the new installation I have the annoying you are here popping up under the menu bar. How do I turn this off?

It's part of the skin file, not a setting or somethiong you can enable/disable.

Do you want to just remove it? You'll need to edit it out of the skin file. Just ask if you need further info on how to do that.

Do you also want to remove the breadcrumb trail that's probably next to it? Same deal, just remove that entry in the skin (look for [dnn:breadcrumb] or something like that in the skin code). Just as if you need further info on how to do that.
