I have set up a web farm in our environment and was unable to set it up exactly the way the documentation instructed because they were last updated July 2006 last I checked. Ever since we began we've been getting this error:

Exception type: IOException

Exception message: The process cannot access the file 'E:\Inetpub\wwwroot\POSGo\Stores\Website\Portals\_default\Cache\412517EFE3EAAF5BD4873D1097CA25CC.resources' because it is being used by another process.

I have DFS set up on the servers but I excluded the cache folders because based on my research, those are not to be replicated across servers. Is that correct? Any idea on this error and how I can rectify it? I have all the standard group permissions set up on the server and db. I am using 4.8.4 and cannot upgrade because of restrictions in our production environment.

Thank you!

This happens so often that the event log fills up and errs out when I try to view it. I have to truncate the event log table so I can see them occuring before it fills up.
