Hi
I'm a newbie into dotnetnuke 5 and have some question.

I have a asp site (vb-script and access) and want to migrate it to dotnetnuke 5.

Its a site for cars with lots of records in the database. I manage to import the database into my SQL Server.

1. Is it possible to use this database with the dotnetnuke database?

2. How to make all the queries in DNN 5. ( i guess i must make some new modules)

3. I have used Artisteer to make my skins but i'm not satisfied with the final skin. In DNN it looks like ****. Is there any other tool to make skins?

4. Is there a better way to migrate asp to DNN

TIA
Bjol

Sure.  Write your own provider or if it's in the DNN database, write your own module or use a module such as XMod.

New modules, XMod or even forms and Lists.

Skins are just graphics and code.  Anything to create the graphics and edit the code will work.  For me, Photoshop and Visual Studio work great.

It's not an ASP issue, it's an issue of what the content is and how it's retrieved or displayed.  Manual labor is really the only method most of the time.
