I just started getting an error while trying to add new folders in the fiels section of the site. when i try to add a new folder i get the "Error on Page" error and when i go to detail view it says this "'dnn.controls.controls[...].selTreeNode' is null or not an object" then it displays the parth to my site "/admin/filemanager/tabid/10736/default.aspx" The line for the error is 298. Has anyone else got this message? If so, how were you able to resolve it? Thanks.

please go to file manager in Admin menu and perform a recursive database sync in top right corner of the module.

Ok the recursive DB sync worked for all of the sites except for one now. Thank you for your help. Any ideas on why all would work except for one? Thanks.

I figured out a simple work around for the issue to hold me over for the time being. What I have done to create new folders and sub-folders is to go to a page and open the text/html module. Once i do that if i choose to upload an image to the site i can then create new fodlers and sub-folders. I know it's not the cleanest way to create folders but with the main file manager not working this is the work around that worked.
