Thank you

I am afraid, there is no option, search Skin Object and module always search the whole site. Some modules however provide search in current module only (e.g. UserDefinedTable, form and List, Repository, Forums)

Basically i need a module or something that should help us search only in text/html module on one perticular page only.

I had the same need and I found a solution. A little Java code by Jeff Baker called "Find on This Page". Just add a Text/Html module on the side of the page and put the code in it as shown on the page (link below). Copy the find.js file to your portal root and you are ready to roll. On the page will be a button called Find on this Page. When clicked a dialog will open for the search criteria.

If you are using a module that doesn't display all of the content on the page, then you have to get more creative. I made a new page and put a Reports module on it. I run a query the finds all the data based on the module ID and displays it on that page. Then I have the Find on Page button to allow searching that page.

Hope that helps!  -M.Pratt

I found another option you will like. It is a search module that you can put on a page and limit the search to 1 or several modules or pages. It is called SearchBoost. It's only a $27 module, here is the link:
