We have a website for a client that has links to files in the menu system. These menu items do not show up in the sitemap, and the client does not like that these files do not show up there. I googled around online and found basically no information about this (or configuring the sitemap in general.) Is there any way to get the sitemap to show these file links that are in the menus?

If you are talking about the XML sitemap that is built by DNN, I do not know what you would need to do to get them to show there.  And honestly, they are not content pages, so from an SEO perspective there is no need to put them there.

If you are looking for a sitemap to display to user, I have a module ICG DNN SiteMap that would render the links.
