Is there a way to display the content of one portal in another, so that it looks like it actually belongs to the target portal?

I have hundreds of pages in one portal that should really be moved to the target portal, but that is proving extremely arduous.

Any ideas on a painless method?

Thanks

There is not really a painless way of doing this.

If you are truly looking to move the pages from one portal to another, you can do some SQL trickery to get them moved over, but you have to be very careful when doing so, and make sure that you know what you are doing.

I saw a previous post that discussed that option, but it does look a little tricky. Certainly not something that I would try, but I could get a developer to take a look at it.

I was more hoping for a 3'rd party module that would enable me to move things en masse, and preserve page heirarchies as well.

Nothing like that out there??

Thanks

Anyone know any 3'rd party modules to help with mass export/import?

I'm not sure about mass import, but Module Wrapper can certainly pull content in from another portal under the same host.

A very useful module indeed as it also allows you to wrap multiple modules in tables (or DIV tags) so you can display them side-by-side despite your skin's layout.

Hope that helps,
Michael
