Hey there,

I recently tried to set up a login page for my website http://www.bdlpg.co.uk Now i cannot  login to my website, cause i think i may of loged out through the process. Even when I put Default.aspx?tabid=1&ctl=Login at the end it does not let me login, it just goes back to the homepage.


Any Help Much Apprietiated

Here are the steps to fix and the steps to correctly setup a login page.

Fix Issue

  1. Open SQL Management Studio
  2. Open the Database
  3. Open the "Portals" table
  4. Remove the value from the "LoginTabId" column

Now you can login.

Setting Up a Login Page

  1. Create a Page
  2. Set the page to NOT show in the menu
  3. Allow ALL USERS to have view rights (or you can also do Unauthenticated Users)
  4. Add the Login module to the page
  5. Make sure again that Unauthenticated Users can see it
  6. Go to "Site Settings" select the new page from the Login dropdown

This should get you going is you need to have a login page you control...
