I'm using the latest DNN version (05.01.04) and have setup my portal for Private registration. I just wanted to know if an automatic email is sent to the newly registered user after the administrator authorizes him or does the administrator have to send the email manually?

An email is initialy sent to the user when he registers stating that his account details will be reviewed by the portal administrator and he will recieve a notification upon account activation, however the notification upon account activation is not sent. So was wondering if this is a manual process.

Looking for a speedy response.

of course an email is sent out, if your users don't receive it, there might be an issue with SMTP server configuration.
