Hi there,

Is this possible – http://www.sitename.com/childportal1/childportal2

I’d like to create 1 DNN instance with 3 portals

Site 1 – http://www.sitename.com (using skin1)

Site 2 – http://www.sitename.com/childportal1 (using skin 2)

Site 3 -  http://www.sitename.com/childportal1/childportal2 (using skin 3)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I tried this once. It failed.

So, I'm rolling with no, that doesn't work. I only tried it once though, so I may have done something wrong.

AFAIK, childportals cannot be nested (though the UI might not prevent it).

Has anyone tried playing with IIS6/7 to make this work?

I did get www.sitename.com/child1/child2 to work when you do not run a DNN instance on the root and you start the webapplication folder at child1

Hey guys. I figured it out.

DNN creates a new folder for a child portal alias with Default.aspx in it. Just place that file in child1/child2/ and it should work fine.

Thanks,

David
