Hi there, I know this will require a core change but I'm curious.  With workflow being bundled in DNN 5.1.4 I have been building my own custom workflows and all is well. However the notification email that is sent when there is a status change only states the following Content is in a [STATE] state  on the following page of your site: [URL] now if you have more than 1 HTML module on your page it can be confusing what is to be updated. Does anyone know or have any idea how I could get the Module Title in the email. I know the email contents and title are stored in the SharedResources.resx in the DesktopModules/HTML folder

Thanks

you might modify to "Content of [MODULE] on [PAGE] is in a [STATE] state...", but you need to provide the extra tokens in your modified HTML module.

That's great, thanks for the tip - I've already put the [MODULE] part in, however I haven't a clue what tokens are.

Does anyone know how I'd go about adding the extra tokens to the modified HTML module - I've had a look on some sites about "Replace Tokens" but nothing seems relevant.

you need to extend CreateUserNotifications in HTMLTextController.vb (down source package of the module, edit and recompile):

search for

                Dim strSubject As String = Localization.GetString("NotificationSubject", strResourceFile)
                Dim strBody As String = Localization.GetString("NotificationBody", strResourceFile)
                strBody = strBody.Replace("[URL]", NavigateURL(objModule.TabID))
                strBody = strBody.Replace("[STATE]", objHtmlText.StateName)
add
                strBody = strBody.Replace("[MODULE]", objModule.Name)
                strBody = strBody.Replace("[PAGE]", objModule.TabName)

(not tested).

You may do same for subject, if needed.
