I am probably wrong but it seems to me that when you enable syndication on modules in DNN 3, all the URLs formed for any module calls the same code RSS.ASPX.  In experimenting with several modules, the resulting channel XML is always the same.

<channel>

  <title>My Portal</title>
  <link>http://</link>
  <description>My portal.</description>
  <language>en-US</language>
  <copyright>Copyright 2005</copyright>
  <webMaster>email address</webMaster>

         I looked at the VB code and it is using PortalSettings.PortalName as the text string to write out for the title. The problem with this is that it means that every feed from my site will always have the same title and therefore the reader will have several feeds all with the same display name.

       Seems to be an easy fix, to modify the line to concatenate the tab name and module name into the title.  The question is, should I do this or is there a way to request this change be made by DNN folks so that all DNN'ers can benefit and so that I don't start my own code path?

you can either post in the respective project forums, or else use the public issuelog (http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/Project.aspx?PROJID=23) . Project teams trawl through this every now and again and migrate issues/suggestions to their own issue tracker.
