Hello,

I upgraded my websites with the new release 5.02 and I have strange issues now with the cache and accent characters. If I delete the Cache directory and reload my page, it shows correctly accents, but if I refresh again, it replaces accents by ?.

I found an exception in the Cache module FileProvider.vb at line 79 :

Private
Shared Function GetCacheFolder() As String
 Dim cacheFolder As String = String.Concat(PortalController.GetCurrentPortalSettings.HomeDirectoryMapPath, "\Cache\Modules\")
...
Return cacheFolder
End Function

The PortalController.GetCurrentPortalSettings is nothing.

Here's a website example : www.wg-design.ch

One more point, if you switch to "Edition Mode" the accents are showed correctly and in "View Mode" the accents are replaced by ?

Have the same problem with ÅÄÖ..

If i use 0 on  Cache Settings --> Cache Duration (seconds) in every module that have Cache Settings it works in Veiw mode to..  But this is not a perfect solution :-)

Changing the Cache Duration to 0 works.
I think something is wrong in encoding-storing the content to the cache (ASCII or UTF-8) or maybe the replace tokens functions.

I have the same problem with swedish characters åäö ÅÄÖ. When the page is rendered for the first time it is displayed correctly but when using cache (File or Memory makes no difference) special characters are replaced with ?

Found any solution for it yet?
