Hi!

I have a installation of DotNetNuke with 2 portals in it, both Parent portals

I have had 2 portals in it before that has been removed leaving one and everything has worked great, but after creating the newest one I can't browse files in it.

In Admin > Appearence Logo and Body Background I get "You do not have access to browse files in this site" and the filemanager doesn't work at all, which it does just fine in the other portal. I have checked that networker service has full access in the portal folder.

It is a windows server 2008 server with ( I think ) a IIS7.

What more can I do? I do not have access to the server, but I have good contact with the hosting company. What can I tell them to do?

Go to File Manager in Admin menu and perform a recursive sync.

Make sure to grant view permissions for the folder and its parents to all users.

Okay, I solved it by creaing a new portal, and set it up as the first one, now it works.

I had the misbehaving portal created during setup of the new webfolder mentioned in the Cacheing issue we have discussed. During a short period I had 2 sites using the same database, and when I created this portal the folder was only created in the old webfolder, so I thought I could copy the folder, ftp it up to the new webfolder and have the host to re-run all securitysettings on it. It didn't work. So I created a new portal. No big deal since there was only one page, and a couple of links in the menu and som images.
