Hi,

Is there a way to configure friendly urls in host settings to do something like this:

Incoming Url:  http://www.mysite.com/?QueryString1=QS1&QueryString2=QS2

Redirect Url: http://www.mysite.com/default.aspx?tabid=[Actual Tab Id]

Thanks,

Jay

Jay,

What importance to the querystring values have?  DO they mean anything?  Or is it anything with a querystring that contains those two goes to page X?

Hi Mitch,

Thanks for the reply.   No the query strings have no significance..  they are legacy links - and I'm basically trying to do a redirect of those old links to a new DNN page.

Will this approach work..or is there a better method?

Thanks again,

Jay

You may want to check out iFinity URL Master, although I am unsure how it handles query strings. I had also looked at DNNMasters' SEO Pack but they had informed me that Querystrings weren't handled with the version that was current at the time. Still may be worth taking a peek at them:

iFinity URL Master (Snowcovered)

DNNMasters' SEO Suite (Snowcovered)

Good Luck!
