Aloha all,

I am running into some issues wiht how to use customized CSS in DNN and the best approach from an SEO standpoint.

If I do have specific styles I want to use for an e.g. Text/HTML module, should I put that into one of the existing CSS files, or create a new?

What if I want to use different <H1> properties for differnt text/HTML modules on the same page, what CSS file should I use to define that?

How does the FCKEditor work with CSS files? I created a new CSS file and selected that one from the "Editor Area CSS" section, but if definig <div class...in the HTML it didn't find the CSS file I just defined, thoughts anyone?

Several questions and if you have some thoughts let me know

Thanks

SEO doesn't care about the styles, so ignore that issue.

Your choice.  Look up the CSS inheritance in DNN, check Cuong Dang's posts and blog and decide what is best for your setup.

You can't.  That's the nature of CSS.  That's why you use styles for each specific item.  From a SEO standpoint you don't want multiple [H1] tags anyway.

Check the FCKEditor documentation for a full discusiion on how to change templates and styles.

That's not completely true, you may specify a div around your text with a dedicated class (e.g. "myclass") and provide CSS for this combination in your CSS file:

.myclass h1 {...} and different for the other module.
