I am developing a property serach module using Code Endeavors Ajax template using DNN 5.1.02

I have managed to create all the controls and files needed to run the module and it is working quite good.

Now I want to do the same using DNN 5.2 and have copied the folders and files that I use in DNN 5.1.2, but when I want to import the manifest file (xxx.dnn) I can not found the comand to do that.

In DNN 5.1 I used the link 'Import Module definition' that is at the bottom of  Host>Module Definitions page.

Please can some one tell where do I found this link in DNN 5.2?

Regards

it can be found under host->module definitions, create new module, then select the "manifest" option.

When I select the Manifest option in the 'Create Module From' dropdown control the site display three new dropdown controls:

1.Owner Folder, 2. Module Folder and 3. Resource.

None of this selectors allows me to select any manifest file. I need to load the manifest 'DNNViosModule04.dnn', which I already know is in the folder '\DesktopModules\Vios.DNNViosModule.dnn'.

Please can you tell me what is wrong with this procedure in order to read and load the dnn manifest file?.

Thans for your help

I have the same issue. Is it possible that the Professional Edition includes this and the Community Edition does not? It used to be in that spot (right underneath "Create new Module" used to be an entry for "Import Module Definition") but that's gone and, like you said, there seems no way to do it otherwise...

use "create module from existing manifest"
