Let's say we have some site with static HTML content.

This content is inside some DIV tag. This HTML site does not provide any RSS feeds. But I would like to display the content that I am interested in, on my own DNN site.

I found some free online services like: http://feedity.com

It does the job, by extracting the content and making RSS feed from it, but the text is not well formated. This text is displayed as a single string without any paragraph delimiting and without any line breaks, so it's not nice to see and not comfortable to read.

I'd like to know if there's some free DNN module that can do that kind of things well. I heard about WebHarpoon, but it's not free.

Maybe someone else had experience with this?

Thanks.

I am not aware of anything free that will do this, and I doubt you will find much.

Is it possible to talk to the site and see if they can publish information?  otherwise, it might be easy to build a quick custom module to display the content.

Yes, that's right. Why not to build a simple module?

This is not too hard to accomplish with .NET Framework. All the necessary tools exist.

I will try to do something.

Thank you.
