Hallo,

I'm currently trying to bring my portal to a new server (Win2008 R2, SQL 2008, IIS7) and have some problems with the user-logins.
The ONLY work when checking the "remember login" functionality! I guess this is due to either a missing privilege on my files or an IIS - setting?

any hint is highly appreciated!

It worked fine with my former configuration: - Win 2003, SQL 2003, IIS6

besides, DNN version is 4.9

Michael, which Authentication modes did you enable for the IIS web site?

The error was due to a modified cookie-setting for the forms authentication in the web.config.
i adopted the string to the one in the release.config from the 5.2.1-upgrade package and it worked again.

Nevertheless, IIS-auth settings are:

-ASP.NET Identitychange

-Forms-auth

-anonymous auth.
