I am having an issue with a built-in module of DNN 5. The site is http://firstmanageyourselfwell.com. I’m using the “Edit News Feeds (RSS)” module in the bottom-left corner of the home page to pull the description (which is also the first paragraph) of the latest blog entry. Click on the More… link to see that it's going to the blog page.

If you go there, you will very probably NOT see the error. That’s because it is ONLY showing ONCE a day when the site is loaded the first time. The error message box states:

SysWebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException.
An unknown error occurred while processing the request on
the server. The status code returned from the server was: 500.

Once the msg box is clicked (OK or Close; don’t remember right now), and then the page REFRESHED, or moving through the site and coming back to the home page, the blog entry works every time. It’s just the FIRST time either after the server has been reset (if the host does that - hosted on WebHost4Life), or after some time interval that I cannot figure out.

When I login in and look at the module menu I see this:

Edit News Feeds (RSS)
http://www.firstmanageyourselfwell.com/Blog/tabid/58/rssid/2/Default.aspx

Is this a known issue and is there a fix?
Has anyone else run into this issue?
Should I upgrade to a better blog module, and if so, what do you recommend?
Finally, is there a better way to pull the first paragraph into the home page?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Can someone who may understand the issue display this site? I have not yet display'd today in a browser, so the first person that views it should see the error (unless my client has first displayed it).

Still looking for an answer...
