I have added new user profile properties. I would like for two additional fields to appear on the User Registration Page (so outside of the basic fields:user name, first and last name and password), but cannot figure out how to do it.  The other option - is there a way that after the visitor finishes the basic User Registration Information, they can be redirected to the User Profile page to complete their profile to be verified and then assigned a role? Can someone give me some direction? Thanks so much!

For this you have a few options.  The first would be under "user settings" wthin the "User Accounts" module you can setup a "Require valid profile for registration" and make the new fields required.  However, many people do not like the way that this layout works.

In most cases I recommend people to the Dynamic Registration module from DataSprings as it provides this type of functionality, but lets you control the whole process.
