Hi Guys,

I have a dotnetnuke site setup and i had spent countless hours trying to figure this out. When I register a new user and select the option to notify the user it's ID and password, only users who are in the same domain as mine get the notification. Ex if user is in username@dotnetnuke.com it will get the notification but if username2@otherdomain.com will never get the notification nor it will get a password lost request.

I try to check the smtp settings and they seen to work fine when I send to users on the same domain... Am I alone or are there other users experiencing the same issue?

Thanks~

If the sender is from a different domain than the SMTP server, the SMTP server needs to be configured to allow "relaying", preferable only for request from the web server.
