Hosted DotNetNuke 5.2 on GoDaddy for ~30 days.

Have successfully logged in using admin and host logins and the control panel at the top was there.  Yes, I changed the default passwords.

This morning when I login -NO control panel at all on the top.   What's strange is after login I no longer see my user name at the top.  It's as if the successful login doesn't actually login.  I see my pages like any other user.  No defacement on the pages or anything.  I just can't get to the control panel to do my portal administration.

What happened?  Where can I look for login history?  Change activity?  Anything which will clue me in?

Thanks so mcuh for helping!

You are looking for Admin  -> Log Viewer

Take a look at it.. you can filter the results by type such has account logins...

Anyway I don't believe you were hacked..... have you changed your skin??? skins can pretty much screw things like that :X

If you don't see the admin or host tab, then you could simply not being looged in as one of those!

Now resolved.  Problem is I didn't fix anything.  I've been doing SW for long enough that problems just don't go away without *something* changing.  The trick is finding it.

I did reset all passwords both Godaddy and dotnetnuke.  Best guess is there was a hosting site problem that was resolved without my knowledge.

Thanks for the help

Nice to know I resolved it... Anyway the log viewer can show you much more..... its not just login's or failed login attempts

You can check the exceptions you're modules are causing etc... its very handy to track down bugs...

Its always good to keep an eye on it...

there might have been a temporary "hickup"  of the application. in many cases it helps to restart the application at the bottom of  Host :: Host Settings.
