Hi Robert,

Unfortunately, the error message you've provided won't be enough for us to aid you in diagnosing your problem.  To do so, you'll need to go into the Event Viewer (located under the Admin menu), and find the relevant exception.  Locate that exception, and paste it here -- it's likely that someone will be able to solve your problem once you have done so.

Hope this helps!

Brandon

Hi Robert,

This problem appears to be associated with the default languages setting on the same page (under Advanced Settings->Other Settings->Default languages).  You can verify this by trying to update your portal settings after making any other change to the settings.

This problem has been reported here, and was corrected in version 5.1.  I suggest, if possible, upgrading to the latest release as soon as possible (5.2.2 at the time of this response).

If you are unable to do so in the short term, the copyright value in question could be updated via direct database manipulation without much effort, though since the bug impacts your ability to make any site settings changes, upgrading will be the way to go here.

Hope this helps!

Brandon

This error (not being able to select a default language) appears to have resurfaced. We recently upgraded from 4.9.4 to 5.2.2 Any solutions or thoughts? Thanks -
