Hi,

Is it possible to prevent the portal admin from changing the skin I have selected for his/her portal?
I create custom sites using dnn and customise each skin specifically for each client/portal.
I don't want them changing skins as their site will look like someone else's site.

Is it possible? even using a query or flags somewhere in the db? I have complete control so I can muck around without any fear!

Cheers
John

if you install skin via admin :: Site settings, it will be available to the single portal only. Admin still may use default skin, but this is usually not a big problem.

Huh? I can't see a link to upload a skin via site settings? It's only there from the Host Settings page, (which is how I installed the skins). Would it be possible to flag each skin as for one portal (via db query) since I already installed them via host settings?

I don't have DNN 5 at hand, there might be a selection in Host Settings now, whether to install per portal or for all portals. To alter, just move skin folder from Host/_default/skins to /host/[portalid]/skins.
