Hello,

We've upgraded a DNN 3.2.2 site to 5.1.2. On content that was for admins only, there was a red border or box around the content. That now seems to have gone. Is there a way to turn that on? Thanks.

AFAIK there is no option to control behaviour of this outline, which has been removed upon a single request. I am looking into options to allow configuration of this function.

Thanks Sebastian. We would very much be interested in having that feature brought back. While it might seem inconsequential to most users, it's actually a major inconvenience for us. Let me know if you would like us to test anything out. Thanks!

During some refactoring in the move to DotNetNuke 5 and the push to remove hardcoded inline styles, that feature was inadvertently removed.  As a workaround, you can set the end date to some date in the past and it will have the same end result - admins will be able to see the content and it will have a red border (controlled by a class rather than by inline styles).

Thanks for the info Joe, we can use that as a stopgap. Do you think that this could be a fix for the next version? If so, would I check the release notes for its conclusion?
