For all my accounts including the host, the eventlog shows a successful login, but the user after login is returned to the login page instead of the homepage and has no session.  I verified thru the database that the Portals.HomeTabID for the site is set to the expected landing page. 

If I try to go to a secured page on the site, I get redirected to login page, and I see the login button URL its posting back to itself and the "returnUrl" parameter to that secured page.  Again the login is successful but user is retured to login page without a session.  I think this discounts it being an issue with the Portals.HomeTabID.

I've tried restarting IIS and I have made no recent changes to the authenticaion

5.2.3 I have been having the same issues.  I removed the "remember me option" that seem to be a problem as I could never log in myself with that option set.  It has to be cookie related and/or firewall related with the database I am thinking.  I am trying to troubleshoot this issue myself.  If I find anything
