Hey DNNukers!

I am facing a strange problem hope any one of you will help me out . I created subportal with an HTTP aliases lets say www.myexamplednn.com/boras and www.böräs.se

now the thing is when i type www.myexamplednn.com/boras it opens the correct subportal. but when i write www.böräs.se then instead of open www.myexamplednn.com/boras it redirects to www.myexamplednn.com

I dont know why this is happening may be becauseof special swedish chracters or some settings. Help me out

its actually the friendlyurl provider which is causing you problems - by default it only accepts a limited set of characters. These are set via a parameter (regexMatch) in the web.config. You can alter this regular expression to include your additional required characters.
