I am running VS2008 SP1 using dnn starter kit 5.2.3  When I run my localhost DNN site it they port number is not added to the address(http://localhost/mysite/default.aspx instead of http://localhost:1234/mysite/default....)  I have ran other localhost sites since this has started happening and they all have the port number in the address.  I tried installing and running DNN 4.9 and it has the port number in the address.  Can someone help me fix this?

Hi Michael,

As annoying as this sounds but it's a known issue as of 5.2.2 and it's been reported in Gemini. Try DNN 5.2.1, it works for the ports.

Is this issue fixed in future versions?

What is Gemini?

Thank you for the help.

Gemini is the issue tracker for reporting bugs, etc. The issue is not fixed in the latest version (5.3.0) as far as I know.

Anyone found a work around yet? I'm using Greasemonkey to manually add a port number!
