I have been here in since 2006 when I subscribe to ClearWire  and when I did I lost connection to my server because they were blocking port 80.  I'm now with AT&T.  SInce this time I was dabbling around with Drupal and Joomla and learn alot of thing with there CMS.

I want to start back dabbling with DNN, but one of things I concern with is Page and Role security with the Community Version.  I look over the comparison and couldn't determin if this version has these features.  Don't have budget for the Pro version at the moment, so it would not benefit me using this version if it didn't have these default features?

both versions have the security at page and module level (i.e. adding permissions for roles and users)- the difference is that the CE version offer's a smaller set of permissions such as view and edit, whereas the PE version has a more granular version offering other permissions such as control of who can update settings. I recommend you download and try out the CE version and give it a spin and see if it meets your needs.
