Hello,

My employer has a website that has not yet gone public, but we are getting close. On the web server, I created a virtual for a DNN website. To browse to the DNN site internally, I simply enter http://myvir, and the DNN home page appears. When I am external, I have to enter http://www.xyz.com/myvir in order to see the DNN site. What I want is to simply enter http://www.xyz.com in order to view the DNN site, but when I do this, all I see is an IIS page labeled "Under Construction". To see the DNN site, I have to always include the /myvir as part of the URL. How do I get my DNN home page to appear by simply entering http://www.xyz.com???

Thank you.

SOLUTION: Within IIS Manager, right-click on the Default Web Site, and click Properties. Under Home Directory, select the option A redirection to a URL. Wihtin the Redirect To box, enter /myvir. Then check the box A directory below URL entered. Click Apply, click OK, close IIS Manager, and execute IISReset.
