Hello, I do not know where to upload the html file that Google needs to verify that I own the domain our website is on. Here is the actual help page from their website...

This is done with the Admin/Site Settings page, there's a setting there near the top for creating this page, you just have to provide the name. DNN does the rest

OK. I see the 'Verification' field under Site Marketing...?

The HTML file from google should have been:

Name: googlehostedservice.html
Contents: google111dc4835407bc9f

Do I just enter the contents in that field and click create?

Hrmmmm that's different than what I've seen in the past. Perhaps you simply need to create an HTML file with that for Contents and put that in the root of your website.

You'll have to do that via the file system or FTP though, DNN doesn't allow you access to the root of the DotNetNuke folder via the browser, only into the various /portals/ folders.

Yes, from what I have read that is exactly what I need to do. Sounds like I need to upload this file to the root directory. I have the file ready to go but you are saying I cant do this through my website managed by DNN?

If not, then where do I gain access to upload this... Do I need to upload the file directly through my domain file management?
