I am running dnn version 04.08.01.  I have been using PayPal for the subscriptions for 2 years with no problems until now. It used to be when you selected a subscription, you were sent to PayPal with the transaction info already filled in. All you had to do was enter your account info. Now, it just takes you to PayPal with no information. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Brian

Brian, DNN 4.8.1 has a number of security issues, which have been fixed in later versions, I strongly suggest upgrading to 4.9.5 (and maybe further to 5.3.1). check the url used to call paypal and check their documentation.

I know, I know!! It's hard to upgrade when it runs so well!!

Evidently PayPal put in new filters to stop cross-site scripting. My site has a single quote (')in the name an that was tripping it up. It works now.

I'll be uprading in the next couple of week. :)

Thanks!

upgrade from 4.8 to 4.9.5 is rather simple: - backup all files and database - stop your site - unzip the files from upgrade package hierarchically into the server directory, where DNN resides. - Start your site and browse the homepage. Good Luck!
