Is there a way to setup my portal as internet and intranet? One (the internet) using form authentication against a user database setup in DNN, and the other (the intranet) authenticating against a windows domain?

This setup is for a school district...i would like teachers, staff, and students to authenticate against windows....but how do i handle objects such as parents and miscellaneous visitors to the internet site?

Please help....any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply and post mibagict....ive looked at that thread numerous times already....

On my development machine (XP Pro Sp2) i cant get authentication to work (LDAP fails, domain is found, etc) but when i setup a new DNN website on a Win 2000 server with IIS 5 the authentication works...to a certain point...it will verify a user such as myself (domain\username) and it seems that it is reading that I am a Domain Admin and I have access to the Admin tools in DNN and it also pulls the email address in my AD account. It does that for any Domain Admin. But for someone who is just a regular domain user it will allow the user to login to DNN (domain\username) but it doesnt do anything after that...so how can I know if it is pulling my groups, etc from AD? It doesnt seem to be....like for instance it doesnt pull in their email address from AD...and it doesnt use their common name from AD...it uses the domain sign in name? I hope I am making sense....I am very very new to .Net and ASP....i have some experience in Visual Basic from college....can someone point me to the places to look at in code that i can try and see what DNN is doing?

Thanks and sorry for the long post...

Justin
