I am using 5.0.1.  When I create a User Profile field which is a list, every User Profile seems to display the (alphabetically)  first element in the list, regardless of any default setting, and even when no matching UserProfile record exists in the database.

Is this a feature or a failure?

(To visually circumvent this, I can artificially make a list entry come alphabetically first by starting its Value with a space - I can also set its Text to an empty string in the database with no immediate adverse consequences)

Cheers, Richard
